Sydney
Sydney is originally from North Carolina and has lived in Minnesota since 2022. She has worked in the animal field since 2015, earning her Associates degree in Zoo Animal Technology at Santa Fe College, in Gainesville, FL. She has worked in multiple veterinary clinics over the last few years, and was a bird trainer and zookeeper at multiple zoos. Sydney has a deep passion for behavior and training and achieved Fear Free Elite certification in 2020.
Minnesota has easily become a second home to her. She currently resides in Minneapolis with her partner and their 2 cats, Mani and Kovu
Melissa
Melissa graduated from Minnesota School of Business in April 2014 and joined the Blaine Central Veterinary Clinic team in July 2015. She became the hospital administrator, and in November 2023, stepped down to being a Lead CVT where she can more closely interact and educate clients. Getting to interact with our clients is huge passion for Melissa!
She enjoys living in Blaine with her husband Chris, their two dogs: Ranger and Luna, and she has a cat, Shadow, that lives with her parents due to Chris’ allergies. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading a good book, baking, and hanging out with family and friends.
She loves working at Blaine Central Veterinary Clinic with her fantastic, caring team and our wonderful clients. She even used to take Ranger to Blaine Central Veterinary Clinic prior to becoming a CVT!
Katherine
Katherine CVT – Lead Technician, Graduated from Minnesota School of business with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology in 2010. Katherine has always had a love for animals started at a very young age and she is now Fear Free Certified, Elite!
Katherine is married to her husband Robert, they have two children Wyatt and Savannah. In her free time she hangs out with their American Pitbull named Blue going on walks/hiking or just snuggling on the couch. Or if it winter time hanging out at the ice rink watching her son play hockey.
Sheree
Sheree has been in medicine for 20 years working in private practice, corporate, research, education, exotics, general practice, Emergency medicine and specialty practice. She has a great passion in anesthesia and pain management. She also enjoys behavioral training of the dog and cat in the clinical setting.
Cheryl
Cheryl has been in the customer service field for over 15 years. She lives in Blaine with her husband and 3 dogs: Stella, Lucy, & Cooper. In her spare time, she loves: gardening, lake life, watching The Real Housewives shows, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Amanda
Amanda graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in zoology in June 2021. She started working at Blaine Central in August 2021 and is a Veterinary Technician Assistant. She recently enrolled at PennFoster online and is working towards becoming a certified veterinary technician.
In her free time she enjoys playing games, listening to music, and spending time with her family, close friends and her poodle Rocky.
Ashley
Ashley joined the Blaine Central Veterinary Team April 2022 as a customer service representative. She lives in Blaine with her husband and 4 cats (Coco, Nilla, Nacho and Muffin)
In her free time she enjoys cooking with her husband and painting.
Grace
Grace graduated from Drake University with a bachelor of science in zoo and conservation sciences in 2020. She is now enrolled in Penn Foster working on becoming a certified veterinary technician.
She lives in Roseville with her partner, 3 cats and 1 dog (Winston, Theo, Monty and Goose). Grace enjoys hiking, camping and exploring the Minnesota state parks with her boyfriend.
Amy
Amy has been in the veterinary field since 2006! She earned her Certification for Veterinary Technician in 2006, both locally and nationally. She started working in a private practice and has continued her employment with Lakefield Veterinary Group when they came to Minnesota in 2016.
Having started as a CVT in the field, she has learned and shared a vast amount of experience and knowledge over the years. Over time, she has transitioned into the customer service role, making sure she can continue to educate and serve the community, as this is her favorite part of the field. Amy plans to continue for many years on developing more relationships and helping each client to learn how to have the healthiest furry friend.
Bri
Bri is currently enrolled in Penn Foster to earn her certification as a veterinary assistant. At home she shares her life with her dog, Chip and cat, Dip. She has increased empathy for animals with high stress/anxiety after learning how to navigate Chips anxiety to every day life, and plans on becoming Fear Free Certified!
Angie
Angie graduated from Ridgewater Technical College in 2021 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has 4 cats; Oliver, Lucifer, Sherbert, and Frankie, along with 2 snakes and a leopard gecko! She loves working in surgery, with a passion of performing dentals!
She lives in Sartell with her husband, and in her free time she loves to hang out with friends and playing board games!
